FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: present invention pertains to corrosion protective coatings during process heating when making high-quality components and intermediate products from steel and alloys. The coating contains the following, in wt %: Al2O3 - 17-33; CaO - 0.5-7,8; MgO - 0.5-5; 2CaOSiO2 - 0.5-1; 3CaO·Al2O3 - 0.5-1; 2MgO·Al2O3·5SiO2 - 5-10; CaO·6Al2O3 - 5-10; SiO2 - constitutes the rest.
EFFECT: increased temperature stability and thermal insulation properties of the protective coatings for steel and alloys when heated to 1200°C.
