FIELD: technology of silicates; methods of decoration of glass articles.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method of making decorative pattern on surfaces of glassware by molding them from glass mass consists in application of mineral powder on their surfaces, holding them during definite period of time, annealing and cooling. Used as mineral powder is fluorspar powder which is applied onto surface at temperature of 800-100°C and is held at this temperature for 5-30 minutes.
EFFECT: simplified technological procedure; improved quality of decorative pattern.
