FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: method of glass manufacturing involves charge preparation, transparent glass paste melting, boiling, clarification, cooling, product shaping, annealing. At the cooling stage, 0.01-0.1 mm pearlite particles are added to the glass paste in amount of 0.01-1% of the paste volume. Pearlite particles are used after soaking in 3-5% solution of cobalt, nickel, manganese, copper nitrates and drying up to humidity of 2% or less.
EFFECT: obtainment of original decorative glass with bubble effect for decoration of windows and doors, lampshade, table top and large-scale figurine manufacturing.
