FIELD: welding processes and equipment, namely welding of metals non-dissolved one in other, possibly in radio electronics, aerospace, nuclear and other branches of industry.
SUBSTANCE: method comprises steps of acting upon zone of welded metal contact by means of high-temperature plasma; forming cumulative plasma jet focused by means of magnetic field till aperture 3 - 5 mm in pulse mode at jet emission rate (4 - 10)x 105 m/s while providing in pulse pressure of jet acting upon welded materials 10 5 - 106 at temperature more than 106°C and at density of energy flux in plasma jet 108- 1011 Wt/cm2. Plasma jet is formed in gas medium, namely in medium of neon, argon, hydrogen, nitrogen or their mixture. Duration of pulse action of cumulative jet upon zone of contact of welded metals is in range (5 - 10)x10-8 c.
EFFECT: possibility for creating pseudo-solid solutions of metals non-dissolved one in other such s tungsten and copper.
