SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the upgraded method of production of aluminum isopropoxide by interaction of the metallic aluminum with isopropyl alcohol at heating in the presence of the catalyst with the subsequent separation of the target product, where in the capacity of the catalyst use the reaction mass of the synthesis of the aluminum isopropoxide of the following composition (in mass %): aluminum isopropoxide - 91.4-97.2; isopropyl alcohol - 2.6-8.0; metals isopropoxide -0.2-5.2 including: iron isopropoxide - 0.1-3.5; silicon isopropoxide - 0.08-08; titanium isopropoxide - 0.02-0.9, taken in amount of 1-20 mass % with respect to the initial aluminum. The synthesis of the aluminum isopropoxide is exercised at the temperature of 75-140°С and the atmospheric pressure. The invention may be used in chemical industry, petrochemical industry and other industries. The technical result of the invention consists in the increased production output of the aluminum isopropoxide, reduction of the price of its production and simplification of the method of its production, usage of the available and low-cost catalyst.
