SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with the composition of steels which could be applied for manufacturing the instrument of cold deformation. The steel in question contains the components in the following ratio, weight%: carbon 0.4-0.8; silicon 0.05-0.1; manganese 0.05-0.1; chromium 4.5-5.5; molybdenum 0.8-1.2; tungsten 1.0-1.5; titanium 0.1-0.3; vanadium 2.5-3.5; aluminum 0.1-0.2; cobalt 6.0-8.0; zirconium 0.8-1.2; iron - the rest. The innovation provides increased impact strength of the steel.
EFFECT: increased impact strength.
