FIELD: personal computer hardware engineering, possible use as flat-panel display in personal computer and television set.
SUBSTANCE: effect is achieved by excluding gas light lamps from emitting cells and introducing ultra-bright white light diodes, by reducing dimensions of cells, producing resolution according to HDTV format and by "code - radiation duration" transformation. Introduced to digital display are three channels of color signals, each one from accumulator of frame codes and block for generating control signals, three emitting cells of matrix element are combined in one non-transparent body, in output end of which a micro-lens is present, into each emitting cell a white light diode is introduced, and its light channel is composed of light diode and colored light filter, positioned in focal plane of micro-lens.
EFFECT: prevention of high voltage, increased image brightness, increased resolution of screen matrix and trustworthiness of color rendition.
