FIELD: sorbents for separation of chiral compounds.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to methods for preparing composite sorbents based on transition metal complex used, in particular, to separate racemates of optically active compounds and to isolate individual isomers of different amino acid derivatives. Method of preparing composite sorbent according to invention comprises treating porous support with transition metal salt solution, wherein, as porous support, materials having surface hydroxyl groups are used and wherein porous support is treated with transition metal chloride solution, then dried at 180-200°C, treated with organic ligand in acidic medium, and dried in gas flow at temperature by 10°C below temperature of decomposition of transition metal complex formed on the surface of porous support. Thus obtained composite sorbent contains transition metal complex on porous support, which is, in particular, complex of bidentate ligand with bi-tetravalent metal, which is efficient in separation and concentration of a wide spectrum of organic compounds.
EFFECT: enlarged assortment of racemate separation sorbents.
