FIELD: chemistry.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to production of sorbents used for separation of organic substances by gas chromatography. Method involves formation of a layer of mesoporous silicon oxide on the surface of a porous medium. Said layer is obtained by dissolving hexadecyltrimethylammonium bromide in alcohol at room temperature while stirring continuously with subsequent addition of water, tetraethoxysilane, ammonium hydroxide, bringing the pH of the solution to pH 9-10. Then N-AW is added, the solution is held for 3 hours, dried in a rotary evaporator at the temperature of 65 °C and the pressure of 135 mbar. Then it is placed in a drying cabinet for 30 minutes at the temperature of 90 °C and annealed in a muffle furnace at the temperature raise up to 600 °C for 7 hours with the heating rate of 1.5 °C/min. Medium having a layer of mesoporous silicon oxide is processed with nickel chloride, dried, added with acetylacetone and repeatedly dried.
EFFECT: obtained is a sorbent with high selectivity and higher sorption activity.
