SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of the powdery techniques and may be used in metallurgical industry, mechanical engineering industry, chemical industry and specially in production of the grinding powders. The method of the air-centrifugal classification of the powdery materials includes formation of the loose layer of the source material, feeding of the source material by the gas stream from the loose layer bottom-up in the coverage of the centrifugal forces, returning of the coarse fraction after withdrawal from the coverage of centrifugal forces in the loose layer of the source powdery material and withdrawal of the fine fraction by the gas stream from the center of this coverage. Previously the loose layer of the source material is recycled 3÷5 times at the excessive pressure of 2÷8 kg/cm2 and at the value of the centrifugal acceleration created by the rotor of the classifier during this period of time within the limits of(4÷8)·10 m./s2. Then conduct final fractionation at the value of the centrifugal acceleration of(4÷1.5)·103 m\s2. The technical result of the invention is the improved classification of the powdery materials, and also production of the powders with the more homogeneous shape of the particles and the narrow granulometric composition.
EFFECT: the invention ensures the improved classification of the powdery materials, production of the powders with the more homogeneous shape of the particles of the narrow granulometric composition.
