FIELD: machine building.
SUBSTANCE: a field of centrifugal forces is generated in the separation area by a revolving rotor or moving blades; gas flow and initial powder are supplied. Fine and coarse grain are discharged separately from the separation area. Gas flow temperature is determined in the separation area, gas flow rate is changed according to the following mathematical expression: in classifiers with rotor: Q=Q0((t+273)/(t0+273))0.413m3/s. In through-type classifiers with moving blades: Q=Q0((t0+273)/(t+273))1.24 m3/s, where: Q - gas flow rate at the moment of classification, m/s; Q0 - gas flow rate, obtained during adjustment, m/s; t - gas temperature (Celsius scale) at the moment of classification; t0 - gas temperature (Celsius scale) at the moment of classifier adjustment.
EFFECT: enhancing the classification accuracy by compensation of influence of gas flow temperature on separation process
