FIELD: fat-and-oil industry.
SUBSTANCE: method involves eliminating contacting of oil with atmospheric air by providing air desaturation and saturating oil with chemically inert gas; initially holding air saturated oil in reservoir under gas pad pressure below atmospheric pressure value and removing oil-dissolved air; holding oil under gas pad pressure above atmospheric pressure value and saturating oil with chemically inert gas; conveying oil saturated with chemically inert gas into storage reservoir; supercharging reservoir with chemically inert gas and pressurizing, or packaging into commercial or household containers and pressurizing. Apparatus has system for replacement of oil-dissolved air by chemically inert gas. Said system has reservoir connected through pipelines via lock valves: with lower part to oil producing and storage systems, and with upper part to vacuum pump, compressed chemically inert gas source, and atmosphere.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and improved quality of oil due to avoiding of oil oxidation during storage.
