FIELD: milling fittings used for milling of fibrous materials in pulp-and-paper industry.
SUBSTANCE: milling fittings for disk mill have concentric rings arranged in rows on rotor and stator disks and provided with protrusions having rectangular sections of different height. Total working area of rings is divided into sectors with conjugated protrusions uniformly distributed thereon. Conjugated protrusions define rectangular parallel knives of constant width and angle of inclination to one of sector sides. Lines of working surface formed in section drawn lengthwise of knives are broken straight lines successively connecting ring conjugation points from inlet to periphery. Total height of each pair of conjugated rings of rotor and stator is constant. Rings are made replaceable.
EFFECT: increased efficiency, high quality, and wide range of modes of movement of fibrous material through cutting cavity depending on concentration of fibrous suspension and natural properties of fiber.
