FIELD: milling devices.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to the disc mill grinding installment and can be applied to grinding of different fiber materials in the form of the fibrous slurry with the concentration of 1-2%; the grinding installment for the disk mill includes two fixed on the bearing footings coupled cutting circular discs of the stator and the rotor provided with the linear cutters made in the shape of truncate uniformly distributed radial sectors; the cutting edge of the cutters are put into shape of chamfers with radial sidewalls; the pitch angular of the rotor chamfers to the cutters surface is equal to 7... 10° , the pitch angular of the stator chamfers - 15...18°, and their width in any random chosen the cutter cross section counts to 0.5 of its width.
EFFECT: provision of the optimal mode of the mechanical impact on the fiber materials with prevailing tangential pressure.
