FIELD: water heaters which use electrodes.

SUBSTANCE: water heater including heating tank containing electrolyte solution, and a set of pairs of heating electrodes, consisting of alternating positive and negative electrodes, positioned in heating tank along internal periphery of tank at similar distances. Because a set of electrode pairs is positioned in heating tank at even distances, heating may always be performed in position, at which amount of electrolyte solution not less than minimal level of water is available, independently on position of heating tank, providing for heating of water and generation of steam.

EFFECT: given water heater may be conveniently used for a device which tilts or topples, and which does not have a certain orientation.
