FIELD: devices for action on cloud processes; artificial increase of precipitation, clearing the fog, prevention of damage done by hail.
SUBSTANCE: proposed air-borne device has platform with inclined guide tubes with rockets which are located radially relative to vertical axis; device is also provided with powder gas generator, safety pin, time relay, temperature sensors, power supply source and launching unit. Rockets are provided with crystallizing reagents. Gas generator is closed with protective membrane. Safety pin which is pulled out at the moment of dropping the platform may be used for cutting-in the power supply. First temperature sensor is connected to time relay output. Temperature sensor may cut in power supply for rocket charge propellant initiators. Rockets are held by means of locking units during the period of time required for burning-out of membrane and operation of powder gas generator. Simultaneous launching of rockets at initial velocity of 50 m/s is ensured at this. Second temperature sensor may cut in power supply of explosive charge initiator. Threshold of response of first temperature sensor is set for operation at altitude of cloud layer to be sown exceeding the trajectory of rockets above level of launch. Platform is provided with tray with annular nozzle which forms general efflux of reaction gases from all rockets and powder gas generator creating the braking force. Time relay is so selected that delay in launching the rockets ensure flying of aircraft out of rocket destruction zone. Threshold of response of second temperature sensor is set for destruction of platform body at altitude no less than 1 km above earth surface.
EFFECT: enhanced reliability, efficiency and safety of action on cloud processes.
