FIELD: medical equipment.
SUBSTANCE: locator can be used in orthopedics and traumatic surgery. Locator ahs at least two support members. Any member has adjusting support with locating through hole. Locator also has gripping members with through longitudinal opening, two adjusting nuts, rod, onto which rod any support member is mounted for movement, and needles. One end of needle intends for passing through bone and the other one is fixed in support member. Locating support is made in form of rectangular prism provided with locating cylinders at both edge surfaces. Gripping unit in form prism with bases and additional gripping unit are attached to cylinders. Base of gripping member and additional gripping member have open longitudinal rectangular groove which is capable of embracing faces of prism on locating support.
EFFECT: stable ostheosynthesis f short tubular bones; simplified installation; easier manipulation with bone fragments.
