SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of purification of the gases from the dust, in particular, to purification of the flue gases of the coal-fired boiler aggregates and may be used in the power, metallurgical, building industries, where the wet dust-catching is used. The invention provides, that the dust-catching device using the method of the wet purification is supplied with the protractile blades of the swirler with the adjustable clearance between the body and the blade, the drop-catcher of the tent-roofed type providing at the low aerodynamic resistance the high efficiency of catching of the drop moisture. The device components may be made both from titanium and from the glass-reinforced plastics, which makes them cheaper. The efficiency of the dust catching makes up to 99.9 %.

EFFECT: the invention ensures the efficiency in purification of the gases in the dust catching up to near hundred percent.
