FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: proposed locomotive has body resting on running bogies with traction drive and wheelsets whose tires are provided with induction coils. At cornering of wheelset, part of induction coils change polarity of current, and finely divided metal dust is sucked out from wheel tires and is accumulated in cyclone.
EFFECT: provision of cleaning of rails and isolated joints from finely divided metal dust, improved reliability of cab signaling and traffic safety.
