FIELD: different industries; thermoelectric devices for the continuous production of the sweet water by the method of freezing-out of the sea water.

SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the equipment for production of the sweet water, in particular, to the water demineralization plant based on production of the sweet water from the sea water. The thermoelectric apparatus represents the hollow cylindrical drum submerged by one fourth in the tank, in which the filtered off sea water is fed. Inside the drum at the level of its dipping into the water there is the cooling heat exchanger, which temperature is set by the thermoelectric battery. The heat from the hot thermoelectric junctions of the thermoelectric battery is being withdrawn by means of the heat pipe, in which the heat-transfer medium is circulating and removes the heat from the hot thermoelectric junctions concentrating it in the heating heat exchanger. The external surface of the drum by means of the ribs is partitioned into the sections, in which the sea water freezing takes place, and then - the water thawing. The sea water and the concentrated brine are fed into the tank and withdrawn from it accordingly through the counter-current heat exchanger. Advantage of the given apparatus is the usage of the temperatures of the withdrawn brine and the temperature of the produced ice for reduction of power inputs at production of the sweet water. The apparatus may be used in any locality, where there is the electrical power and the sea water.

EFFECT: the invention ensures reduction of power inputs at production of the sweet water in any locality, where there is the electrical power and the sea water.
