FIELD: water supply.
SUBSTANCE: invention is intended for obtaining fresh water from natural salty sources or from sea water by cyclically alternating the stages of freezing (crystallization) of ice and its subsequent melting with the formation of fresh water in a continuous mode. A device for obtaining fresh water by freezing in a continuous manner contains a cylindrical body, on the lower part of which containers for purified and obtained fresh water are fixed, an axis, made with the possibility of rotation, on which levers are fixed, is attached to the upper and lower parts of the body. At the ends of the first lever, two cylinders are fixed, designed to accommodate a highly volatile refrigerant, with pistons, the rods of which are fixed at the ends of the second lever to ensure the movement of the cylinders up and down. The ends of the levers are located in the guide grooves on the walls of the device body.
EFFECT: creation of a device for obtaining fresh water by freezing it from salt-containing aqueous solutions without using external energy sources for ice crystallization and its subsequent melting.
