SINGLE-ACTING MULTIPLUNGER HORIZONTAL PUMP Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC F04B15/04 

FIELD: hydraulic metallurgy, oil and gas producing, mining, coal and metallurgical industries.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to pumps designed for handling aggressive liquids. Proposed pump contains drive part conveying reciprocating motion to plungers, and hydraulic part with seals arranged in inserts and enclosing the plungers. Each insert has radial channels to deliver lubricant to plunger seal and drain lubricant, and also ring flange. One end face of ring flange of insert is deepened into bore in housing of one part of pump, and its opposite end face is fitted in division plane of drive and hydraulic parts of housings. End face from side of hydraulic part is sealed by ring seal two symmetrical vertical flats made on each flange are arranged at distance not exceeding internal distance of plungers. Flats of adjacent flanges engaging with each other prevent turning of inserts in which lubricant delivery and drain channels constantly occupy designed position.

EFFECT: facilitated and accelerated assembling of pump.
