FIELD: the invention refers to measuring technique.
SUBSTANCE: the device has a body, a weighting mechanism, holders of samples installed one opposite another with parallel supporting planes with possibility of approaching, one of them interacts with the weighting mechanism. An arbor with a spherical indenter fixed on it is located between the holders of samples. The turning mechanism of the indenter is fulfilled in the shape of levelers rigidly fastened on the arbor, of unmovably fixed on them segments whose arcs are stroke out of the center of the indenter and also of flexible ties covering the segments. A constant load of weight impacts on one of the ties, a variable of the vibrating mechanism-on the other. This allows execute turning of the indenter in the plane perpendicular to the supporting planes. The device has an arrangement for measuring of an applied moment and a magnetic conductor with a magnetic coil located on it.
EFFECT: the construction of the device allows increase accuracy of measuring of molecular component of the friction coefficient.
