FIELD: physics.

SUBSTANCE: friction factor tester includes body rigidly attached to sliding bar and containing mandrel in its bearings. From one side, the mandrel is supplied with indenter, and from the other one it rests on force measure device comprising framed screw and dynamometer. The indenter rests on plane sample in carriage. The sliding bar is horizontally movable. The carriage is connected to flat spring. The tester is provided with power supply representing closed electric circuit through the indenter with the mandrel, force measure device and plane sample. The plane sample is insulated with a spacer and rests on the vibrator. Besides, the tester is equipped with exciting coil with magnetic circuit representing closed magnetic circuit through the body, mandrel with the indenter and plane sample.
