FIELD: medicine, surgery, proctology.

SUBSTANCE: for forming surgical space transanally it is necessary to apply a retractor's ring ("Mini-Assistant") onto perineal region. In rectal cavity retractors should be applied, as well. Along rectal wall where the tumor is located one should apply 1-2 retractors, the length of working part being one half-two third of the distance from toothed line up to inferior edge of the tumor, at the angle of about 30-50° against rectal central axis. Moreover, the tumor should be descended towards anal canal. Along the opposite wall it is important to apply 1-2 retractors more at the same angle due to matching the length so to provide surgical access towards proximal edge of the tumor. The tumor should be dissected, mucosa should be sutured in with the help of surgical instruments of "Mini-Assistant" set. The innovation excludes the usage of gas insufflation and endoscopic instruments that simplifies and cheapens the method and, also, enables to remove large-sized tumors and suture in large-sized defects of rectal mucosa. Moreover, the innovation enables to widen the visualization of surgical field and decrease the depth of surgical space and provides the possibility of its modeling.
