METHOD FOR CORRECTING THE PROLAPSE OF THE MUCOUS LAYER OF THE RECTUM Russian patent published in 2023 - IPC A61B17/94 A61B17/00 A61B1/31 A61B17/122 A61B17/32

Abstract RU 2788805 C1

FIELD: medicine.

SUBSTANCE: invention relates to medicine, namely to surgery, coloproctology. An operating rectoscope, 4 cm in diameter, with closed ports, is inserted into the rectum, a portion of the mucous membrane prolapsing into the lumen of the rectoscope is identified. After inserting the instruments through the ports, the apex of the instrument is grasped with a clamp, and during traction in the distal direction, using an electrocoagulator, the prolapse resection line is marked with dots. It is circularly dissected within the submucosal layer and mobilized until the marked area is removed, the mucosal defect is sutured in the transverse direction using an endoscopic needle holder with an absorbable thread with a button at the end, a fixing clip is installed at the end of the suture.

EFFECT: method allows to achieve improvement or normalization of the evacuation function of the rectum, reduce technical difficulties in resection of excess rectal mucosa, increase access to prolapse up to 15 cm from the anus, maintain the function of holding intestinal contents due to the absence of trauma to the anal sphincter, and prevent dyspareunia due to for the lack of capture in the seam of the muscle layer of the rectum along its anterior semicircle.
