FIELD: thread winding facilities.
SUBSTANCE: proposed winding device is provided with arrangement for mounting first drum and second for rotation, gripping device to direct thread to be wound onto first drum and then onto second drum, and cutting device to cut thread to be wound when it is directed from first drum onto second drum. Cutting device contains at least one cutting blade moving in direction of cutting owing to tension of thread to be cut.
EFFECT: improved winding of thread.
