SUBSTANCE: inventions are related to agriculture. A machine for packing products in stretch film (11) contains a conveyor (12) for feeding a product (11), a unit (13) for positioning the product, a winding unit (14), an unloading conveyor (15), in addition including a shelf (16) under the specified winding unit (14) as well as a vacuum gripping unit (18, 118) located under the specified shelf (16). The vacuum gripping unit is intended for gripping film and carrying a paired cutting device (31, 131). The cutting wire (131) is connected with the specified vacuum gripping unit (118) for cutting the same film, and the cutting wire (131) is fixed at opposite ends resting on the rod (48). These ends have end pins (46) located in the supporting protrusions (47) of the vacuum gripping unit structure (118). The cutting wire (131) and the rod (48) are rotatable relative to the vacuum gripping unit (118). Disclosed is a method of packing products (11) in stretch film carried out by a machine.
