FIELD: transportation.

SUBSTANCE: continuous elongated element going out of extruder or coming from supply reel is wound in the form of coils located in series near each other on a cylindrical forming support. Pushing element presses each coil made on the forming support down to previously made coils thus providing translational movement thereof to the cutting device. After coils have been cut there obtained is continuous semi-finished product that has elongated reinforcing elements located in parallel and near each other and throughout the length of semi-finished product itself in longitudinal direction.

EFFECT: simplifying equipment required for semi-finished product manufacturing, increasing capacity and process flexibility when manufacturing tires, and possibility of manufacturing rolls of semi-finished product without continuity breaks associated with formation of preliminary joints.
