FIELD: transport engineering; locomotives.
SUBSTANCE: power plant of locomotive with closed cooling system of turbine contains gas-turbine engine with compressor, combustion chamber and turbine connected by gas duct with free turbine after which regenerative heat exchanger is installed. Output of regenerative heat exchanger is connected with gas-turbine engine through cooling system of turbine with heat exchanger-condenser, and further on, with water tank. Heat exchanger-condenser is installed at input of gas-turbine engine before compressor. Turbine cooling system is made in form of successively connected inner spaces of nozzle assembly, working blades of turbine, seals on shroud flanges of working blades of turbine and manifold made on turbine housing over turbine blades.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and reliability of power plant.
