FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: power plant of gas turbine locomotive with heat recovery comprises gas turbine engine with compressor, combustion chamber and turbine connected by gas circuit to free turbine, and downstream regenerative heat exchanger is installed in exhaust device. Inlet of regenerative heat exchanger is connected via water pump to water reservoir. Plant comprises turbine cooling system that consists of the following serially connected components - fuel-steam and fuel-air heat exchangers. Outlet from the regenerative heat exchanger is connected to water reservoir via fuel-steam heat exchanger and steam turbine located on free turbine shaft.

EFFECT: higher efficiency factor and reliability of power plant.
