FIELD: railway transport.
SUBSTANCE: proposed power plant of locomotive with closed cooling system of turbine contains gas-turbine engine with compressor, combustion chamber and turbine connected by gas duct with free turbine after which regenerative heat exchanger is installed whose output is connected with gas-turbine engine. Output of generative heat exchanger is connected through cooling system of turbine nozzle assembly with liquid sodium container. Turbine wheel air cooling system contains pipeline to feed air from behind compressor and deflector on turbine disk and it is made in form of series-connected inner spaces of turbine wheel blades and perforations on turbine wheel blades, shroud shelves and slots on trailing edges.
EFFECT: increased efficiency and reliability of locomotive power plant.
