SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to construction of the pipeline transport and may be used at deposition of the protective polymeric coatings on the main pipelines. The method provides, that first clean the surface of the steel pipeline, heat it up by moving the heater along the pipeline and deposit one or several layers of the insulation polymeric materials on it. Before the surface heating they apply on it the water inhibitive solution, and after the heating - dry it till the complete removal of the condensed moisture from the surface of the pipeline. Drying of the surface is exercised by the stream of the hot flue gases. The deposited coating is additionally treated with the stream of the hot flue gases. The invention provides the increased reliability of the insulating polymeric coatings of the pipelines.

EFFECT: the invention ensures the increased reliability of the insulating polymeric coating of the pipelines.
