FIELD: mechanical engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed tubular combustion chamber of gas-turbine engine has space formed by casing, fire tube with burning zone and mixing zone, igniter and fuel feed system. Space formed by casing and front part of fire tube are sealed. Fuel feed system is made for delivery of cooling water into casing space and delivery of mixture of electrolyte and fuel through nozzle with cavitator into arc burning zone. Igniter is made in form of arc electrodes. Said electrodes are installed in fire tube for delivery of dc current to electrodes, striking and extinction of arc, and dissociation, ionization, ignition and turning into plasma vapors of mixture passing through arc burning zone. One of electrodes is movable at arc striking, and the conical channel.
EFFECT: increased economy and ecological efficiency.
