FIELD: engines and pumps.
SUBSTANCE: ramjet engine comprises a housing, an inlet and nozzle devices, a combustion chamber, fuel supply and ignition systems, starting engine arranged along the housing perimeter and incorporating a combustion chamber casing, a fuel supply system and a nozzle. The space formed by the starting engine combustion chamber casing and the fire tube front party are sealed, the fire tube being mounted in the said space. The fuel supply system is designed to feed and spray water in the casing space, and to feed and spray a mix of electrolyte/electrolyte water solution and fuel via the nozzle with cavitator into the fire tube tight front part. The ignition device represents arc electrodes receiving direct current, allowing igniting and blowing out the arc along with dissociation, ionisation of the mix vapors passing through the arc ignition zone and their conversion into plasma. The said electrodes are mounted in the fire tube front part.
EFFECT: higher efficiency ramjet.
