FIELD: engines and pumps.

SUBSTANCE: jet engine incorporates a space formed by the casing, a flame tube, a fuel feed system, an igniter and nozzle section. The space formed by the casing and a front part of the flame tube arranged in the said space are tight. The fuel feed system is designed to feed and disperse water in the casing space and to feed and disperse a mix of electrolyte/electrolyte water solution and fuel, via the cavitation jet into the front section of the flame tube. The igniter is made in the form of electric arc electrodes. The said electrodes are arranged at the front right section of the flame tube and, with DC voltage fed to then, ignite the arc and quench it with dissociation, ionisation, ignition and transformation into plasma of the mix vapours passing through the electric arc ignition zone.

EFFECT: higher efficiency and ecological safety.
