SUBSTANCE: the projectile is provided with extensible stabilizers located in slots made in the projectile base. Cavities filled with a nonmetallic material are also made in the base. Nonmetallic materials, in particular, high-temperature lubricant, epoxy resin, silicone or other similar materials can be used as fillers.
EFFECT: reduced weight of the projectile and enhanced weight of the charge for its motion.
