FIELD: aviation; devices for ensuring takeoff and landing on short runways and in an emergency.
SUBSTANCE: proposed alighting gear includes gas generators located in wells on sides at the beginning and end of runway. Gas generators may be extended from wells for control of gas flow vertically and horizontally for ensuring fast lift-off by means of gas cushion at takeoff, deceleration and stop of aircraft in the course of landing and prevention of cross wind drift.
EFFECT: enhanced safety of takeoff and landing operations.
