FIELD: chemical industry; the environmental protection; methods of production of potassium ferrate.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the methods of production of potassium ferrate. The method provides for the interaction of the potassium peroxidate and the ferric oxide. At that in the capacity of the potassium peroxidate use the potassium superoxidate, and interaction is exercised in the presence of the fuel in amount of 2-10 % from the mass of the interacting components. The initial fusion mixture for the interaction is prepared in two stages. The method ensures the higher content of the main substance in the reaction product, allows to bring the power inputs at the synthesis to the minimum and to be refused from usage in the synthesis process of the highly toxic chemicals, dangerous both for the operational crew and the environment medium.
