SMALL-SIZED ANTENNA Russian patent published in 2008 - IPC H01Q9/30

Abstract RU 2316855 C2

FIELD: radio electronics.

SUBSTANCE: proposed small-sized antenna incorporating vertical current-carrying dipole, straight insulated conductors disposed coaxially in parallel with current-carrying dipole, and conducting tube with supporting flange at base that accommodates current-carrying conductor at base arranged along axial line and electrically connected on one end to current-carrying dipole and on other end, to central current-carrying conductor of coaxial feeder whose external conductor is electrically connected to supporting flange of conductive tube and to horizontal screen has its insulated conductors made of sections of current-conductive insulated wire whose length equals axial length of current-carrying dipole and spaced six diameters of insulated current-carrying conductor. Insulated leads of straight insulated conductors are electrically disconnected from each other and from current-carrying dipole; newly introduced in antenna are N coaxially disposed cylinders electrically interconnected at top ends and installed in plane of mentioned conductive tube, as well as insulated loop conductor made of current-conductive insulated wire section whose length equals lower operating frequency wavelength λ and uniformly disposed in the form of uninterrupted loop on externals surface of each of N conductive cylinders along generating line at distance equal to six diameters of current-conductive insulated wire. First conductive cylinder is installed on external insulated surface of mentioned current-carrying conductor and N - 1 conductive cylinders are arranged in turn as insulated loop conductor is disposed, first insulated end of the latter being located on top edge of first conductive cylinder; second end disposed on top edge of last of N conductive cylinders is electrically connected through inductive coils to top end of conductive tube. Current-carrying dipole is made in the form of metal tube accommodating metal probe disposed along its axial length, its top end being electrically connected to that of current-carrying dipole metal tube and bottom end is electrically disconnected.

EFFECT: enlarged functional capabilities in operating range of long and short waves.
