FIELD: physics, radio.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be applied in geometrically and electrically short antennas for radio communication and navigation in combined working frequency bands from 0.3 to 600 MHz. To extend pass-match band in lower working frequency band of antenna, a geometrically and electrically short antenna construction includes insulated cylindrical device mounted on top of vertical current-conducting vibrator and made in the form of double-wire high-frequency loss-free line broken at ends and formed by conductive bar with insulated conductor, connected electrically in sequence to the upper end of vertical conductive vibrator, and conductive surface of passive cylinder-shaped conductor. Conductive bar of the same length as conductive cylinder generatrix, and insulated conductive conductor of 0.25 wavelength of lower working frequency are positioned at insulated outer surface of conductive cylinders, while due to strong external capacitance bond conductive cylinders passively excited by electromagnetic field exert electrodynamic effect distributed regularly over the conductive bar length and insulated conductive conductor, thus maintaining conditions close to progressive-wave mode in the lower working frequency band. As a result, the antenna has two emitting elements in the lower working frequency band: conductive bar and vertical conductive vibrator.
EFFECT: manufacturing of geometrically and electrically short antenna for radio communication and navigation with improved technical properties.
