FIELD: laser engineering.
SUBSTANCE: proposed method for regulating frequency of double-mode He-Ne/CH4 laser with respect to amplitude-frequency resonance F2 2 of methane molecule component in line P)7), strip v3 is characterized in that correlation dependencies of frequency being regulated and frequency of mode-to-mode beats due to longitudinal shifts of photodetectors relative to laser are measured. Then phase shifts between these dependencies are evaluated and distance between photodetectors and laser are regulated with respect to mode-to-mode beats including measured values of phase shifts.
EFFECT: enhanced long-time stability of proposed double-mode laser.
