FIELD: medicine, dermatology.
SUBSTANCE: the present innovation deals with applying in the stage of decreasing exacerbation or disease remission ordinary baths with 1%-solution of Rapan preparation, bathing the affected skin part with !0%-Rapan solution followed by ultraviolet irradiation of a patient's skin. In case of the increase on the 3d-4th d of therapy of total area of pathological skin eruption 2-fold or more times, predominantly due to the area of erythema, the increase of skin itching up to 8-10 points according to the International evaluation scale of the severity of atopic dermatitis manifestation SCORAD, and in case of disorders of sleep it is possible to evaluate balneological reaction of a patient as pathological, therapy should be stopped and it is important to apply conventional medicinal therapy in such a patient. In case of the increase on the 5th-8th d of therapy of total area of pathological skin eruption by above 40%, but less than 100%, the portion of erythema area against total area of pathological skin eruption - by 1.2-2 times, the intensity of skin itching - up to 5-6 points by SCORD it is possible to evaluate a patient's balneological reaction as normal and Rapan-therapy should be continued for the period of 21 d. In case of the increase in 8 and more d of total area of pathological skin eruption by under 40%, the portion of erythema area against total area of pathological skin eruption under 1.2 times, or at no alterations in skin pathological process it is possible to evaluate balneological reaction of a patient as weak or absent and it is important to increase the concentration of Rapan-solution for skin bathings up to 15%. Moreover, total ultraviolet skin irradiation should be carried out only in patients at accompanying or weak balneological reaction since the moment of its detection. In case of pronounced skin desquamation it is useful to apply skin-softening preparations. The innovation enables to take into account different reaction to balneological procedure in patients with atopic dermatitis.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy.
