FIELD: medicine, ultrasound diagnostics.
SUBSTANCE: the present innovation refers to diagnostic ways at applying ultrasound waves: one should measure skin thickness due to multiple ultrasound skin inspection in B-mode at frequency of about 12-14 MHz in the sites of characteristic localization of maximal manifestations of atopic dermatitis. Then comes dopplerographic inspection of skin vessels in the same sites in duplex mode at applying chromatic Doppler-mapping by energy and studying in impulse mode. At decreased value of skin thickness and at no registration of intracutaneous arterial circulation therapy should be estimated as efficient. The present innovation increases accuracy and objectivity while evaluating the dynamics of skin alterations at atopic dermatitis in children.
EFFECT: higher efficiency of therapy.
