FIELD: heat and power engineering, possibly processes for purifying and recovering flue gases of heat and power generation plants.
SUBSTANCE: unit includes gas conduit 1 over bottom of which in lateral wall there is window connected through lifting duct 3 with upper portion of unit housing 4; heat exchange section 5 with vertical shell-and-tube heat exchanger 6 and with condenser - plate type heat exchanger 7 having axial fan 8; liquid distributor 9, adsorption section 10 filled with packing and provided with horizontal perforated partition 12 having flow-through branch pipe 13, desorbing-cooling section 11 with suction-off hood 14, fan 15, drier 16, pipeline 21 with circulation pump 22. Housing 4 of unit is arranged over level of bottom of gas conduit 1. Exhaust duct 17 restricted in lower part by means of separation board 18 and communicated with atmosphere through chimney 19 with deflector 20 is formed along the whole height of adsorbing section 10 opposite lifting duct 3.
EFFECT: improved efficiency of carbon dioxide removal from flue gases, enhanced operational reliability, simplified design of unit.
