FIELD: chemical industry; heat and power industry; electronic industry; communication industry; other industries; methods of production of the plates made on the basis of polymethylmethacrylate.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the method of production of the molded products made on the basis of polymethylmethacrylate and to the article produced by this method and may be used in the fields of industry, where the articles made out of the comparatively strong dielectric material are required. The technical result of the presented method is the increase of the mechanical strength of the produced plates, the decreased amount of the used aluminum oxyhydrate by one order of magnitude and production of the transparent plates. The technical result is attained by the method of production of the plates made on the basis of the polymethylmethacrylate including feeding of the grainy filling agent containing aluminum oxyhydrate into the liquid monomer-containing medium. Then this mixture is fed in the polymerization chamber with the following polylymerization and extraction of the produced plate. The grainy filling agent consists of the powder of the polymethylmethacrylate, nanoparticles of the boehmite modification aluminum oxyhydrate and the surface-active substance of the cationic type. At that the amount depends on the mass of the molded plates: the nanoparticles of the boehmite modification aluminum oxyhydrate - 1-4 mass %; the surface-active substance of cationic type - 0.02-0.08 mass %; the polymethylmethacrylate powder - no less than 10 mass %.
EFFECT: the invention ensures the increased mechanical strength of the produced plates, the decreased amount of the used aluminum oxyhydrate by one order of magnitude and production of the transparent plates.
