SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the field of manufacture of the multilayer products and may be used at molding of the laminated articles out of the polymeric composite materials. The method of manufacture of the glass-fiber housing provides for the laying out of the glass-fiber fabric layers into the shaping fitment and placing between the layers of no less than one layer of the fiberfill. The shaping fitment consists of two detachable parts, on which apply the separating layer of the wax, then superimpose some layers of the fiber glass fabric, each of which is saturated with the binding solution. The following operation consists in rolling by the roll and superposing of some layers of the emulsion-bonded glass fiber mat interleaving them with the roving fiber glass fabric. Drying is conducted at the indoor temperature. On the coupling flanges of both parts of the housing and round the hole for bracing of the bosses superimpose the additional layers of the fiber glass fabric and the glass fiber mat. After the assemblage on the outer surface of the housing apply the moisture resistant moisture-resistant enamel. The invention presents the method of production of the cheap, simple in production, sturdy, reliable, moisture-resistant housing for the locomotive gear box.
