FIELD: radio engineering.
SUBSTANCE: invention can be used as radio-transparent covers and radomes for antennae protection, including satellite communication stations, from invention mechanical and climatic factors. Creation of mechanically proof moisture resistant radio-transparent cover for antennae of spherocylindrical form that has equal wall thickness by periphery, with inner and outer layers (1) made of composite materials, intermediate layer made of glass honeycomb panels (2), filled with syntactic foam (3), above which there is fiberglass mesh (4). Radio-transparent cover is manufactured by layers at internal periphery at one rigid shape-generating fixture. Note that radio-transparent cover has no flanges, has integral structure with metal coupler in a form of a rib, connected with the inner surface of multilayer glass-plastic shell by screws, "snake-like", in combination with epoxy glue. The rib is attached to bearing platform by thread connection.
EFFECT: cover and fixture manufacturing technology simplification.
