FIELD: mechanical engineering; lifts and elevators.
SUBSTANCE: invention relates to method of control of lift plant and lift plant with at least one well and several cabins, at least two of which are installed with possibility of moving separately up and down along common path. Passenger calls lift cabin to required floor by means of lift plant control unit arranged out of the limits of at least one well. Cabin to serve call for moving indicated floor is chosen depending on result of analyses of possibility of serving of call by said cabin. When of cabins to serve the purpose call is chosen from cabins installed for movement along common path, section of path for said cabin is appointed required for serving the call and access to said section for other cabins installed for travel along common path is pointed for time of serving of said call.
EFFECT: increased passenger carrying capacity or efficiency of light plant, prevention of relative interference of cabins moving along common path.
