FIELD: construction materials industry; other industries; production of the fire-protective expanding construction materials.
SUBSTANCE: the invention is pertaining to the construction materials industry and may be used as the coating on the metals and the wood for protection against the outer high-temperature firing action and giving them the artistic effect. The technical result of the invention is improvement of the mechanic and operational properties of the coatings, reduction of the viscosity, the increase of the strength and the expansion factor, reduction of consumption of the main components. The fire-protective expanding composition contains (in mass%): the water glass - 45.0-55.0; the waste of production of nitroammophoska - 8.0-10.0; tripoli powder - 7.5-10.0; asbestos - 2.5-3.0; sodium hydrophosphate - 15.0-17.0; metallic aluminum - 5.0-7.0; water - the rest.
EFFECT: the invention ensures the improved mechanic and operational properties of the coatings, the increased strength and the expansion factor, the reduced viscosity and consumption of the main components.
